Our Heartfelt Outreach at Mercy of God Orphanage, Ibadan in July 2024

At TOSOL Impact Initiatives, we believe in extending a hand to those who need it most. Recently, our dedicated team visited the Mercy of God Home for the Less Privileged in Ibadan, a haven for 40 residents, including children and adults with disabilities. The home, led by the warm and inspiring Mrs. Toyin Adisa, is committed to providing care but faces many challenges due to a lack of resources.

During our visit, we delivered essential supplies, including food items, medical supplies, and continence pads, which will support the orphanage for the next two months. We were also proud to offer financial donations to recognize the hard work of the caregivers. Spending time with the children was especially moving; we helped with their meals, joined them in worship, and connected with one young autistic boy affectionately known as “Woli,” who delighted us all with his bell-ringing.

This experience left a deep impression on our team. Beyond the material donations, we shared words of encouragement and hope, reminding both staff and residents of their strength and resilience. As we continue to support Mercy of God Orphanage, we remain committed to making a lasting impact on the lives of these incredible children.

Through this project, TOSOL’s mission to uplift communities and provide tangible aid becomes more personal. It’s not just about giving; it’s about building relationships, sharing hope, and walking alongside those in need. The outreach was led by Mrs Bola Olagoke director in charge of health inequalities and community social well being , she is trained senior social worker in the Birmingham, Uk.
